Today is the Day

Today is the day that we have finally completed our basement. It has been a long year. JC has devoted many weekends and evenings working hard to finish our basement and all his hard work has finally paid off. I feel so lucky to have a husband who can fix just about everything. He was able to do all the framing, most of the electrical, heating, painting and finish work all by himself. We had a little help with the plumbing and we hired out the dry wall, mudding and taping. So today carpet was installed!! I guess the fun part can begin. Now comes the decorating and furniture arranging. We are so excited and want to invite everyone over to see our finished product. Thanks to everyone who helped make this possible.
