Grandpa saves the Day!

Ryker loves to shovel the snow or scoop up dirt. Well, last week we went over to see my parents and someone had thrown Rykers little shovel up on their roof. We keep some of Ryker's toys over at their house so he has things to play with when we go over. Well, when Ryker saw that his shovel was on their roof he was very worried. He started to say "up" over and over. Just about that time Grandpa came home and Ryker ran over to him and had to show him that his shovel was on the roof. Grandpa pulled his ladder out of his truck and climbed up to save the shovel. Well, Ryker would not stop talking about it all night. He kept on saying, "Papa, up ... roof ... shovel" all night long. It was pretty funny but Ryker was sure proud of his Grandpa going up on the roof to save the shovel. I don't think he will ever forget it. We also took Ryker to the boat show. I think he was in heaven the whole time. He wanted to go inside every single boat. This of course, would have taken all night long but we were finally able to get Ryker to leave the show. He did love watching the wake-boarders, seeing the fish but most of all he absoluely loved the boats and talked about Papa and boats for a few days after.
