Just for Laughs

I have a few funny stories to share about Ryker. Well, yesterday I was making dinner and the dish washer was running and Ryker was playing in the other room. Suddenly he starts screaming, "Mom, Mom." Well, I say one moment and I am trying to finish dinner. Well after he continues for a moment I decide to go and check on him. I find him standing in the bath tub with the water running and the plug down. He is still fully dressed and his pants are so wet that he is having trouble lifting his leg back over to get out of the tub. I thought it was pretty funny but he was mad that his pants were all wet.

Ryker has a really cute broom that my friend got him for Christmas. It is just his size and it has a little face on it. When you push the nose it says cute things like, "you missed a spot." Well, a few weeks ago he played with it out in the mud and I told him to go and put it in the laundry room so I could wash it. I didn't realize that he put it in the washing machine and I ended up sending it through with a load of clothes. I thought for sure the batteries would be dead and it would never work again. Well, yesterday Ryker pulled it out and pushed the nose. He brought it to me and said, "Oh, no, broke." I told him to wait until dad got home and he would get his screwdriver and fix it. That was not good enough of an answer for Ryker so he ran and got his "hammy" which is his hammer and his screwdriver and started pounding away on the broom. To my surprise it started working again and Ryker was so excited. He said, "I fix." I thought it was so funny! Oh, I just love this kid!

Good work Ryker on fixing the broom! That is so funny:) I think this is sign that not only will his future wife love him for being able to fix things, but also because he actually uses the broom!(we'll hope that this lasts into adulthood. I can't wait to hear what you are having.

That is fabulous! Now I know another handy man in the neighborhood. :) How come things never fix when I pound on them?
