I am sorry for all of you who have continued to look at my blog and I have let you down. It is hard to keep the blog updated when Ryker refuses to let me sit at the computer. He continues to say, "Mom, play with me." I guess I feel a little guilty, enjoying a moment on the computer while Ryker begs me to play with him. So, here is a little update.
We have enjoyed the summer already. Ryker has found a new friend that lives behind us. His name is Braxton and he is almost 5 years old. However, it does not bother either of them and they continue to be so excited when they get a chance to play. They enjoy swimming, playing in the dirt and even enjoy the mud. They have become the best of friends.
We have also enjoyed going to the zoo a few times, which Ryker loved. We spent an evening at Lagoon, just enjoying the few free rides for the local Lagoon Day. We enjoyed spending a weekend at my Grandparents house that live in Linden. They have a tractor, which was a hit! We also spend a day at the Strawberry Day's festival in Pleasent Grove. We went to the morning parade, which was really hot but Ryker enjoyed every minute of it. The funny thing was is that as the horses walked by he was mostly excited about the horse poop. He love the pooper scooper and thought it was so funny. He also thought it was great when they threw candy. He was a little slow on the pick-up but was gathering candy with a sucker in one hand and a piece of taffy in the other. It was fun. We also enjoyed going to the rodeo that night. Ryker's favorite part was the little half time show when they brought out the motercycles. He loved it. Wow, he is such a boy and I can't believe how fast he is growing up.

YIPPEEEE! Finally, a new post. Not that I need to check it...we only talk to each other 5 times a day as it is. But I like to see the pictures. And don't feel bad about not blogging regularly...at least you're spending quality time with your child. What does that say about me??? :)
Hi Shalee, I'm definitely glad to see a new post. I've been waiting! It looks like you've been having a fun summer! We should get together for lunch or something!
