We decided to surprise my mom for her birthday and I drove to Nebraska to meet my sister from Tennessee and bring her to Utah. My mom was very surprised!! It was fun. So we have spent the last few weeks with family. We went to flamming gorge to enjoy the heat and cool off in the water. I love fishing and had a great time fishing from the boat. Ryker and Talya loved sleeping in the tent and playing with cousins on the beach. It was a fun get away weekend. We also went to the zoo which is always fun. The highlight was seeing the Tigers. Because we went on a cool day the Tigers were actively playing in the water and with each other. It was so fun to see them since they are rarely moving around when we have been before. As a family we decided to take a chance and go to stay at Fort Bridger for the rendezvous. It was fun ... until we started walking around and the kids were lacking in sleep and just very grumpy. They complained a lot and I decided to come home with them. JC stayed at Fort Bridger and I am not sure that he will ever come home because he loves being there. Well, that is our last few weeks in a nutshell. Ryker is starting school this week and I am going to attempt to potty train Talya.

Good luck potty training. That was seriously the WORST mother job ever. I think I prefer being thrown up on.....
