We started our month with a little surprise for J.C. He turned 30 on the 28th and I decided to throw him a little surprise party. I think he was very, very surprised and we had a great time.
We also got a great surprise when Talya decided that she was too big for diapers and pretty much potty trained herself. Now, we need to work on taking away the binky next. She has also decided that she needs to wear make-up everyday and loves to apply it herself. Her favorite thing in the world is chapstick. Ryker also had his school Christmas program which turned out very cute!
We enjoyed Christmas. Who doesn't? JC and I woke up at 4:00 am waiting for the kids to join us. However, at 8:00 am we could bear it no more and had to wake them up to find out what Santa had brought them. The kids were very excited. We loved watching them open gifts and play with their new toys.
I was so proud of Ryker. He was a little nervous but was able to ride a two wheeler bike all by himself. He received the bike from Santa and was worried that he had forgotten the training wheels. It only took him a few minutes a few times around the block to realize that he could do it. So around the block and around he has gone all week. Well, that is until it snowed. He has loved it and has been fearless with it.
We have had a great month and look forward to a new year. Full of weight-loss for me. Kindergarten for Ryker. Big girl time for Talya and Pro basketball for J.C.

Yay! I'm glad that your sister begged you to update. Cute pictures! I am sending you a birthday card, asking you about your blog and if you are still doing it. Just ignore that part...I guess I have my answer!
