Ryker was so excited to start preschool. We dressed him in some new clothes and he put on his new lightening McQueen backpack. He thought he was such a big kids to be able to go to school. Just as we were about the leave the house, JC calls to let me know that he has taken the car to work. Of course, I am all upset because Ryker is ready to leave and I have no way to take him. JC lets me know that he is on his way but is still at least a half hour away. I decided to call one of my friends to take Ryker to school, so that he won't be late on his first day. Of course, it was no big deal for Ryker to go with someone else, but I was very upset at JC. Oh well, maybe I'll get to take him next year. Ryker loves his teacher Miss Jamie and has already made so many new friends. He attends school on tuesdays and thursdays for 3 hours which is great for me. I do miss him a little but I know he is having a great time with his friends.

Oh no! I would have been mad for missing the first day too. I guess you'll be able to take him the other days though. How crazy that you already have a kid in preschool. Time flies!
Yeah..it's ok that you were mad. Hopefully you won't ever miss taking them for their first day again!! JC you are totally in the dog house for this one:)
