Happy Birthday to my little princess Talya. We celebrated her birthday a few days early so that we could have family join us. Thank you for everyone who could make it to the party. It was a lot of fun. We enjoyed burritos for dinner, followed by presents and a pinata. Talya dug right into the ladybug cake and wasn't shy when it came to getting all dirty. I think she mostly enjoyed having her little cousins to play with. She was great at opening the presents but I think she was excited about the bag idea. She would pull out all of the tissue paper and could care less what was inside, she really just wanted the bag. By the end of the night she was so tired but would not go to sleep. Oh well! It was a great day. I can't believe that she is already one year old. She changed all of our lives when she arrived 2.5 weeks early and has always loved to be the center of attention. She loves her big brother and they play pretty good together. She is all girl and loves dolls or stuffed animals. She is already a little mother to Ryker and will often mimic me when I yell at him. She is a great eater and will taste anything I put on her tray. I love having a baby girl and it has been a whole different experience from my big boy Ryker. They balance out each other well and I wouldn't trade them for anything.
